Morriston Hospital Changes

Changes to Bus Stops at Morriston Hospital, Swansea from 15 July.

On Thursday 15 July the route through Morriston Hospital will be changing to use the new road layout currently under construction.

There will be two new stops on this road. The first stop is a lay by with proper Kassel kerbing and it is long enough to accommodate a ftr and standard bus at the same time. This stop is situated at the top end of the road as the bus enters the hospital grounds, however passengers will have to walk a fair way to the building.

The second stop is towards the end of the road and is technically opposite the Outpatients building however again the passengers will have to walk through an alleyway to access the Outpatients building. This stop has no lay-by but it does have Kassel kerbs and it will not be used as a"waiting " stop.

The new road has been built to allow them to close the existing road so that the redevelopment  of the hospital can start, and eventually the hospital building will be extended to meet the new bus stops.
