Gowerton construction work affecting services from 11th February 2012 for up to 2 weeks

From 11th February 2012 the road under the railway bridge at Gowerton will be closed due to work by Wales & West Utilities.

This means that services 400 and 404 will not be able to serve Gowerton and Waunarlwydd.

Buses to Swansea will operate past Swansea Sound then along the bypass, Ffordd Cynore, Fforestfach Industrial Estate, Gypsy Cross and into Cockett and onto to Swansea. The return journeys will turn right at Gypsy Cross then left at Ystrad Road and back to Gorseinon.

We will be operating a shuttle service between Gowerton, Waunarlwydd and Gypsy Cross to connect with the 400 / 404 journeys in the morning peak and in the evening connecting with journeys including and after the 1745 from Swansea. The connection will be made in Fforestfach Industrial Estate near the old Greyhound racing track.

Please click to see temporary timetables for Mon - Fri

Please clickl to see temporary timetable for Saturday

There will be no connections during the daytime and thus no service between Gowerton and Gorseinon. Unfortunately we will be unable to serve the surgery in Gowerton.

First regrets the inconvenience these roadworks will cause and will return services to their normal routes as soon as possible.
