Park and Ride

There are numerous Park and Ride schemes in North, South, Mid and West Wales.

Using Park and Ride has many advantages which makes it well worth considering as a travel option.

• Parking – it can be difficult to find a car parking space in the town centre - park your car at the Park & Ride site most convenient to you and get to your destination hassle-free! Also, town centre car parking rates can be expensive whereas the majority of Park and Ride car parks are free.
• Of course, from an environmental perspective, public transport has less of a negative impact on the environment than taking the car. However, using Park and Ride will help to a degree and especially when considering the effects of inner-city traffic congestion. Why not help reduce your “carbon footprint”?
• Avoid the traffic - as there are bus priority lanes for bus services, you may find that you’ll get to your destination faster than if you were to drive!
