Buses to Boats: an easy way to the Waterways Festival

Interested in canals, boats or just want a good day out with a difference? Head to the Vale of Neath on Spring Bank Holiday weekend for the National Waterways Festival; and you can get there easily by bus……and a bit of walking. Take the X5 from Swansea Bus Station (every half hour on Saturday, every hour from 1030 on Sunday & Monday) and Neath Bus Station alighting at Clyne Cyd Terrace from where it is a most attractive and easy walk (1½ miles/2½ kilometres) along the canal towpath to Ynysarwed Farm where the Festival is being held.
