Rail Tickets On Bay Car

From Sunday 3 April, rail tickets will NO LONGER be valid for free travel on BayCar.

Due to financial pressures Cardiff Council is discontinuing payment for the use of these tickets on BayCar.

Rail passengers who wish to travel on BayCar will therefore need to buy a single fare priced at £1.50 or Day return fare priced at £2.00.

PlusBus, Cardiff Capital Card and Freedom of Wales Flexipass tickets are still valid for free travel

If you travel everyday, you can buy a bus add on for your rail season ticket which will give free travel on all bus services in the Cardiff area. Details of these tickets can be obtained from your rail operator..
