M-ticketing, bus tickets 2 ur mobile

M-ticketing or mobile ticketing is an emerging technology that could transform public transport.

It is already being used by Arriva Bus and allows bus users to pre-purchase tickets via their mobile phone.

Bus users register online to receive a ticket application which once downloaded allows the user to select and purchase their ticket.

Once activated, the ticket will be displayed on their mobile phone screen ready to be shown to the driver.
