New 70 seat vehicles on school bus contracts

Lloyds Coaches of Machynlleth have now taken delivery of two brand new 70 seater vehicles into the fleet to be used on newly acquired school bus contracts in the Aberystwyth area.

Both new vehicles are to the Plaxton Profile design placed on Dennis Javelin chassis. They are both fitted with 70 coach seats, seat belts and a 7 point multi camera CCTV system. The vehicles are also to the Euro 5 specifications on engine emissions.

A spokesperson for the company said “ We are extremely pleased to present these new vehicles on the newly acquired school contracts that we now operate on behalf of Ceredigion County Council. This firmly demonstrates our company's commitment in delivering high quality services to the pupils who travel on the school buses, to their parents and also to Ceredigion County Council and at the same time taking into account environmental issues as the vehicles are to the Euro 5 specifications on engine emissions. When not operating on school contract work the vehicles are readily available for hire in between these times, including weekends and during school holidays”.
