A new way to find the time of your next bus

Now you can get your bus times on the move with Traveline NextBuses! The innovative NextBuses service from Traveline means that you can go online on your mobile phone to check departure times for any bus from any stop whenever you like!

Traveline NextBuses is a new mobile internet service allowing you to search for a bus stop and find out which buses depart from it. All you need to do to receive a bookmark for the service is text ‘Traveline’ to 84268.

Once online you can search for your bus stop in a number of different ways. You can type in your postcode, street or town name or your bus stop code if you know it. The search results are shown plotted on a map to help you find the right one. Then click on a stop name to go straight to the departure times.

Traveline NextBuses allows us to deliver information immediately to the customer on the move when potentially they would most need it. Traveline are delighted to be able to offer our customers this exciting new service.”

Traveline Next Buses was developed by Kizoom Ltd who are part of CitySpace Ltd and leaders in the world of public transport information delivered through new technologies. It is the aim of Traveline with the help of Kizoom and CitySpace to deliver clear and understandable public transport information to the general public in a variety of ways which assist the passenger both at home and on the move.

Traveline also operate call centres and websites regionally throughout the UK where people can call or go online to find out how they can make their journey by bus, coach or train. Traveline also provide a text messaging service allowing users to text their bus stop codes (found at the bus stop, on the regional websites or by contacting the call centre) to 84268 to find out the next four departures.
