At the end of November, staff from Traveline Cymru attended the Daily Post Achievement Wales 2008 Business Awards.  We would like to congratulate Portmerion Village on being awarded the Traveline Cymru Tourism Award.  General Manager, Graham Walter who presented the award said:

“Tourism is at the heart of Welsh businesses and visitors to Wales make up a key part of the Traveline Cymru target audience; these are just two of the reasons we are keen to support the award. We believe that businesses encouraging people to visit this beautiful country should be recognised and rewarded for their efforts.”

Other nominees for the award were Welsh Highland Railway and Greenwood Forest Park.
