Q.  How do I use the Plan My Journey page?
A.  Enter the start point of your journey, your destination, the date, estimated time which you wish to travel and select whether you would like to travel by bus, coach, train, ferry, air or a combination of all five! Once you have done this, you will be provided with a variety of options available for your journey. Select the time which is most suited to you, then click the ‘Journey Details’ button to view all details for that journey.

Q. How do I use the Timetable Search?
A. Enter the bus number you are searching for, select date and estimated time of travel. You will then be asked to confirm your timetable choice. Finally you will be able to view your timetable which you are able to scroll up and down throughout the day.

Q. I am unable to use the Journey Planner due to an ‘Invalid Time’ error message. What am I doing wrong?
A. Enter the time using only a colon to separate the numbers e.g. 12:20.

Q.  How do I plan a journey outside of Wales?
 If your journey can be made by rail or coach, you can plan it using the Traveline Cymru website. If it is a journey which includes local buses not in Wales, please visit the Transport Direct website www.transportdirect.info.

Q. Where can I get my Welsh Concessionary Bus Pass?
A. If you are aged 60 or over or have a disibility, you are eligible for free travel in Wales through the Concessionary Bus Pass scheme. Application forms are available at your local Post Office. Alternatively contact the Transport Department of your local council who will be able to help. Links to each local authority can be found on the Helpful Links page of this website.

Q. Where can I use my Welsh Concessionary Bus Pass?
A. At present you can only use your Welsh Concessionary Bus Pass on all local bus services in Wales. You cannot use your Welsh pass for travel in England and you cannot use your English pass for travel in Wales.

Q. Where can I find information about travelling with a disability?
A. Traveline Cymru attempts to provide as much information as possible regarding travelling with a disability. Please visit our ‘More Help to Travel by Public Transport’ page for more information.

A. Fare information is available by contacting our call centre on 0871 200 22 33. Alternatively you can use the links to operator websites on our ‘More Help to Travel by Public Transport’ page.

Q. How do I make a complaint about a bus company?
A. To make a complaint about a bus services, please contact Bus Users UK on 029 2022 1370 or email wales@bususers.org. For complaints about rail services contact Passenger Focus on 08453 022 022 or email hello@passengerfocus.org.uk.

Q. How do I make a complaint about Traveline Cymru?
A. For complaints about any of the Traveline Cymru services, please fill out our feedback form on our ‘Get in Touch’ page and we will get back to you within four working days. Alternatively you can put your complaint in writing to:

Q. How can I plan my journey by phone?
A. You can contact our call centre by calling 0871 200 22 33 between 7:00 and 22:00 daily. On Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day we operate a reduced service.

Q. How much does it cost to call the call centre?
A. Calls to 0871 200 22 33 cost 10p per minute plus a 6p connection fee from a BT land line. Other networks may be higher and mobiles may be significantly more. The average call to the Traveline Cymru call centre lasts 90 seconds.
