What is Bwcabus?

Bwcabus is a brand new on demand fully accessible local bus service, the first of its kind in Wales! The service, which is tailored to the needs of the passengers, will operate Monday to Saturday from 7am to 7 pm.

What’s new?

Forget needing to look at a timetable every time you want to use a local bus service, you’ll now just phone in advance to book a journey by calling 01239 801 601. The Bwcabus zone covers several villages that are currently without a bus service enabling you to travel between local villages or connect you to an upgraded Carmarthen – Cardigan – Carmarthen 460 bus service. The new specialist vehicles are buggy and wheelchair friendly.

How does it work?

Bwcabus will implement new scheduling technology to deliver a more customer responsive service. The service will give people who in the past have been unable to use public transport, access to more frequent and flexible bus services.

How do I book Bwcabus?

All you need to do is contact our bilingual call centre on 01239 801 601 to register for the service and make your booking. The call centre is open from 7am until 8pm 7 days a week. Morning journeys must be booked by 8pm the day before travel and afternoon journeys by 10am on the day of the journey. Once you’ve made your booking, then just wait for the bus to arrive!
