Bwcabus is the innovative demand responsive fully accessible local bus service operating in the Teifi Valley. The service is tailored to the needs of the passengers by operating in response to pre-booked journey requests. The service operates from 7am-7pm Monday to Saturday in the area shown on the map below:
The service enables people to travel between local towns and villages or connect to the hourly Carmarthen – Cardigan – Carmarthen 460 bus service at local hubs.
Technology is used to maximise the efficiency of the Bwcabus vehicles.
How do I book Bwcabus?
Passengers can and need to pre-book journeys by contacting our bilingual call centre on 01239 801 601, the call centre is open from 7am until 8pm, 7 days a week. Morning journeys must be booked by 8pm the day before travel and afternoon journeys by 11.30am on the day of the journey. Journeys can be booked 28 days in advanced and passenger can block book regular journeys. All journeys are subject to availability and will operate on a first come first served bases.
The service is available to all to use. Whether you need to get to access employment, training, healthcare or local services, Bwcabus can assist. The new specialist vehicles are low floor easy assess and can accommodate buggies and a wheelchair.
Bwcabus also has a number of fixed routes that operate on certain days, the fixed routes do not require pre-booking. Just turn up and catch the bus as you would for a regular bus service.
